EXTERNAL PRIVACY AND PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION POLICY 

Ensuring the security and confidentiality of the personal data of our clients, partners, suppliers, shareholders, investors, users of our virtual environments, and job applicants is of utmost importance to us at BIOFARM QUÍMICA E FARMACÊUTICA LTDA (“We” or “Biofarm”), a private legal entity registered under CNPJ No. 00.256.591/0001-62, with headquarters in the city of Jaboticabal, State of São Paulo. 

Therefore, we have established this Privacy and Personal Data Protection Policy (“Policy”) to outline how we collect, store, use, or otherwise process personal data, in compliance with applicable Brazilian legislation, particularly Law No. 13,709/2018 (General Data Protection Law – “LGPD”).

By accessing and/or using our services and virtual environments, you acknowledge that you are fully aware of the terms set forth herein and freely and expressly consent to the processing of your personal data for the specific purposes and under the conditions specified below. 

 

  1. CONCEPTS AND DEFINITIONS

For the purposes of this Policy, the following terms shall be understood as: 

1.1. Personal Data: 

Any information through which a natural person can be identified, directly or indirectly, including, but not limited to, name, identification documents such as RG and CPF, telephone number, and email address. 

1.2. Sensitive Personal Data: 

Personal data related to racial or ethnic origin, religious beliefs, political opinions, membership in a trade union or any religious, philosophical, or political organization, data concerning health or sexual life, genetic or biometric data when linked to a natural person. 

1.3. Processing: 

Any operation performed on personal data, such as collection, production, reception, classification, use, access, reproduction, transmission, distribution, processing, filing, storage, deletion, assessment or control of information, modification, communication, transfer, dissemination, or any other form of making data available. 

1.4. Data Subject: 

A natural person to whom the processed personal data refers. 

1.5. National Data Protection Authority (ANPD): 

A federal regulatory body responsible for ensuring, implementing, and supervising compliance with the LGPD throughout the national territory. 

1.6. Data Protection Officer (DPO): 

The individual designated by Biofarm to act as a communication channel between Biofarm, data subjects, and the National Data Protection Authority (ANPD). 

1.7. Virtual Environments: 

Collectively refers to our institutional website www.biofarm.com.br and our Intranet services. 

 

  1. DATA COLLECTION METHODS

We collect personal data when you: 

  1. Access or use the features of our virtual environments;
  2. ii. Register to use our Intranet services;

iii. Contact us through any of our communication channels (email, telephone, fax, and contact forms available on our institutional website); 

  1. iv. Participate in training sessions and events organized by Biofarm;
  2. Are attended to or conduct business visits at our physical locations;
  3. Submit your résumé to apply for job vacancies and/or register in our résumé database; or

vii. Enter into commercial agreements with us. 

 

  1. DATA COLLECTED

Depending on the situation, we may collect and process the following personal data, which are provided directly by the data subject: 

  1. Contact Information: Full name, telephone number, address, and email address;
  2. ii. Professional Information: Résumé, educational background, professional experience, and desired position;

iii. Registration Data: Full name, email address, telephone number, login and password, and type of relationship with the company; 

  1. iv. Data for Participation in Events and Training: Full name, CPF, telephone number, and email address.

This Policy serves as an official guideline for the collection, use, and protection of personal data by Biofarm, in accordance with the LGPD and other applicable regulations.
